Under long-term traffic loading, the soil elements in subgrade are subjected to continuous principal stress rotation. In order study deformation properties of soft clays under loading with rotation, a series cyclic torsional shear tests were conducted on Wenzhou different ratios and degrees The test results showed stiffness softening loading. addition, rotation induced by aggravated clay samples pore pressure accumulation. A modified dynamic model was applied consider effect undrained cumulative pressure, predicting growth at cycles.
